May 2000 graduated from Colgate University with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature (major) and Asian Studies (minor).

December 2007 graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Master of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications. GPA 3.9.

January 2008 accepted position as internet director at WXOW Channel 19 in La Crosse, Wisconsin.

September 2008 covered the 2008 Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minneapolis and Sen. Barack Obama's political rally and Sen. John McCain's political rally in La Crosse, Wisconsin.

January 2009 accepted position as interactive content manager with Barrington Broadcasting Group based in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.

September 2009 appointed chairwoman of the Society of Professional Journalists Digital Media Committee.

March 2010 accepted position as the associate new media editor at the Law Bulletin Publishing Company in Chicago, Illinois.

May 2011 accepted position at the Chicago office of Narrative Science as the manager of content operations.

March 2012 accepted position as the digital managing editor at WLS AM and WLS FM in Chicago, Illinois.

March 2013 accepted position as the digital strategist at the Better Government Association in Chicago, Illinois.

May 2014 founder and lead architect at Bring Your Own Stuff in Chicago, Illinois.
