Recently someone asked me if my mediumship readings were like seances.
No, I do not hold seances during my mediumship readings.
I don’t know about you, but when I think of the word seance I think about a dark room, scary music, people sitting in a circle, way too many candles being lit, and strange apparitions appearing or voices coming from someone outside the circle.
If you’ve ever watched the movie Beetlejuice, there is a great example of what I do not do.
No, I do not hold seances during my mediumship readings.
In fact, my readings are private. It’s just myself and my client. These days my appointments are held over video conferencing.
I’m in my office and my client is wherever they are most comfortable taking our appointment. Quiet locations where they will be undisturbed and not distracted during our time together work best.
When I hear the word seance I get a little creeped out, which is saying something for someone who is in the business that I’m in.
Hopefully that’s answered your question about mediumship readings and seances. The goal is the same – communication with the spirit world – but the means to get there are different.
If you’ve got questions about mediumship, feel free to email me – my contact information is here. I just might end up answering it in an upcoming video or blog post.
